Impact

To date, we have established partnerships with 23 schools, and our network continues to grow as we expand our reach and impact. We believe that every child deserves the chance to reach their full potential, and we are proud to be part of a movement that is making this vision a reality.

At Equipping for Life, we are fortunate to have a dedicated team of over 125 volunteers who are committed to supporting schools and children through a range of programs and initiatives. These volunteers come from diverse backgrounds and bring with them a wealth of experience, expertise, and passion for making a difference in the lives of young people.

Over the past five years, our charity has facilitated an impressive number of one-to-one reading sessions between our dedicated volunteers and children in need. Beginning with a prayer, each session lasts approximately 30 minutes and is focused on providing tailored reading support to each child. Through these sessions, we have been able to help over 13,000 children across the country improve their literacy skills and develop a love for reading.

Over the past two years, we have provided approximately 750 children across seven schools with eight weeks of free tennis coaching, beginning with prayer. Our dedicated EfL coaches and volunteers have worked tirelessly to create a supportive and fun learning environment for each child, tailored to their needs. We are proud to offer these programs free of charge, giving every child the opportunity to develop new skills and reach their potential.

Our Inspire Programme is set to make a significant impact in 2023, with an estimated 865 children expected to be involved. This program is designed to equip children with the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to succeed in the classroom and beyond. We are excited to continue expanding our reach and making a positive difference in the lives of children across the country.
