Rev. Canon Norman Jardine


Rev. Canon Norman Jardine was born and bred in Banbridge. He has been married to Heather for 52 years, they have three children and eight grandchildren.
After his ordination Norman spent two and a half years as curate in Magheralin Parish Church, Craigavon. The next 40 years until his retirement in 2016 Norman ministered in three parishes in Belfast, for which he gives thanks to The Lord for his faithfulness. Norman was appointed a Canon of St Annes Cathedral in 2002.
Since his retirement Norman has remained active in his ministry, currently as Staff Chaplain for CMSI and is active as a member of St Johns Parish, Orangefield.
Norman is currently working with a team of volunteers promoting the ethos of Equipping for Life in schools in East Belfast.
Norman and Heather enjoy time spent with their grandchildren. Norman, in his spare time, enjoys all sports, reading and walking.
