Equipping for Life for a better future

Paul Jeffrey: EfL school volunteer

After attending Campbell College, Paul studied Theology at Queen’s University Belfast at Bachelor and Masters level. Following the completion of the Living Ministry Programme at Westminster College (United Reformed Church) in Cambridge, which included a year as Trainee Assistant Minister at First Church Belfast, he was licensed for Ministry in the Non-Subscribing Presbyterian Church of Ireland. As a Licentiate, Paul serves two congregations (Moira and Mountpottinger) as Assistant to the Minister-in-charge. He is also Assistant to the Clerk of the denomination.

Paul first became aware of Brother David Jardine through attending the Monday Holy Communion service at St. George’s Parish Church, Belfast. He was instantly struck by the passion and clarity of Brother David’s vision to go out into communities significantly impacted by the Troubles in order to help encourage children in their education. Paul currently volunteers at Black Mountain Primary School and thoroughly enjoys working with both the children and his fellow volunteers.
