Equipping for Life for a better future

Heather Boyd: Volunteer Tutor in Glenwood Primary School

Heather has been involved with Equipping for Life for a few years now, having met Brother David in St Anne’s Cathedral, through interdenominational ministries. She is currently a volunteer tutor at Glenwood Primary School and enjoys her time there with her pupils.
She belongs to St Patrick’s and St John’s United Parish in Templepatrick and Donegore where she has been an active member of church life for over twelve years. She is part of the prayer group, ladies fellowship and is currently the sacristan in St John’s.
Heather has two children and four grandchildren and is happiest spending time with her beloved family, whether meeting them and their canine companions for a walk, sharing a meal or picking up the grandchildren from school.
In her own time, Heather enjoys being at home cooking and baking for herself and her family. She also takes great pleasure in being outdoors in her garden, enjoying the wildlife and the fresh air at her rural abode. Spending time with friends and family is high up her list of priorities.
